CY.PAG. DESIGNED CyDetector
CyDetector is a device to be installed on pneumatic cylinders
that monitors their health condition during normal use.
CyDetector consists of a Pressure Sensor and two end-stroke
Sensors (reed contact/magneto-resistive).
CyDetector records the operating parameters of pneumatic
cylinder and detects variations to predict its service life and to
report anomalies and malfunctions before serious events occur.
HOW IT WORKS
CyDetector records an operation characteristic curve of the cylinder in
a specific application, analyzing and monitoring performance decay and malfunctioning.
CyDetector monitors in real-time kinematic and dynamic parameters of
the cylinder, the travel time, the leakages and variations in the air-supply, the load and friction variations, the airflow and the air
consumption providing related cost conversion in €/$.
CyDetector provides embedded LEDs that signal alert states, which can also be viewed remotely, through a Cy.Pag’s application, or with Modbus interpretation protocol (for third-party software and/or PLC)

The CyDetector device can be sold already pre-installed on the cylinder or to be installed on existing cylinders. It can be installed on all types of double-acting cylinders with a magnetic rod without having to modify the machine or system.
